I know I haven't been really active on here lately, but I'm going to make up for it, I promise. I'm still owing you a post about going to Washington D.C., but unfortunately they're still all on my friend's camera, so I'm going to add them later.
Ich weiß Ich war nicht besonders aktiv in letzter Zeit, aber ich werds wieder gut machen, versprochen. Ich schulde euch noch einen Post über Washington D.C., aber ich habe leider noch keine Fotos, da die noch alle auf der Kamera von meiner Freundin sind, also werd ich später hinzufügen.
We had a really nice guy called Jeremy take us to Washington, who used to study there, and showed us around. We went to see the Bill of Rights and Constitution, the Art Gallery, the World War II Memorial, the National Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the White House, the Air and Space Museum and the Capitol Building, in that order. In between we had lunch at Old Ebbitt Grill, which was very good. It was amazing to see all the buildings you just know from the movies. We were super lucky with weather, too: It was rather sunny and warm.
Ein wirklich netter Junge, der Jeremy hieß und in Washington studiert hat, hat uns mitgenommen und uns alles gezeigt. Wir sind zur Bill of Rights und Konstitution, der Kunstgalerie, dem zweiten Weltkriegs Memorial, dem nationalen Monument, dem Lincoln Memorial, dem Weißen Haus, dem Luft-und Raumfahrtsmuseum und dem Hauptstadtsgebäude, in der Reihenfolge. Zwischendurch hatten wir Mittagessen im Old Ebbitt Grill, was sehr gut war. Es war unbeschreiblich, die ganzen Gebäude zu sehen, die man sonst nur aus den Filmen kennt. Wir hatten auch total Glück mit dem Wetter, es war sonnig und warm.

After an exciting day, we met a few of Jeremy's friends for dinner and drinks, we had a lot of fun and really got along well. I'm so glad to meet fantastic new people everyday. To top this awesome day, we went on the rooftop of the restaurant and had a view of nighttime Washington D.C. It was so much fun!
Nach einem aufregenden Tag haben wir noch ein paar von Jeremys Freunden zum Abendbrot und ein paar Drinks getroffen, wir hatten sehr viel Spaß und haben uns gut verstanden. Ich bin so froh, dass ich jeden Tag neue fantastische Leute kennen lernen kann. Um diesen geilen Tag noch zu toppen, sind wir auf die Dachterrasse und haben Washington bei Nacht gesehen. Es hat so viel Spaß gemacht!
